Canadore Athletics is proud to offer exciting wellness initiatives which are designed to accommodate many skill and experience levels. We will be offering a variety of fitness programming at both our College Drive and Commerce Court campuses.

Check out fitness class sign up weeks!

September 20-24, 2010 at the College Drive Cafeteria during the lunch hour.

Here are some of the fitness classes to look for:

  • Yoga
  • Spinning
  • Women Only Workouts
  • Zumba
  • Power Plus
  • T.B.C. (Total Body Conditioning)
  • Core Plus

Note: classes are free to Canadore students (Must present a valid student card)
**Fees apply for some specialty classes.**

If you are interested in signing up for any of these classes please go to our booth in front of cafeteria at College Drive from 12:30-1:30 between September 20-24, 2010 or drop by C25 to sign up. (Athletics Office) For Commerce Court classes you can sign up at Educational Technology Services (The Library)

Look for some of the following programming: Information sessions on healthy eating, and lifestyle choices. These sessions will include nutritional seminars, active living tips and information on how to get the most out of your academic studies by reducing stress and staying fit.

Active Living On Campus

If sweating it out in a fitness class is not your think take your workout outside! You can take advantage of Canadore's scenic trail system and go hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or walking. Bring your student card to the Education Centre gym office to sign out equipment.

We also have weight room facilities at all three campuses which offer cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights, as well as change rooms and shower.
