What is a prerequisite? A prerequisite is a course (or other qualification) required for entry into another course. It is your responsibility to ensure that all prerequisites are met before registering. Senior Citizens’ Fees Senior citizens, 55 and older, are eligible for a 15% discount on the tuition fee portion only on all continuing education courses. In addition, financial assistance is available for candidates who qualify. There may also be an additional material fee charge. General interest courses are intended primarily for adults unless otherwise specified. Some programs may require successful completion of Grade 12 English, Mathematics, or Science (or equivalent). Previous work/life experience may earn you advanced course standing. If you are uncertain of your ability to handle a program, please inquire about academic upgrading.
