The Social Service Worker program will give you the skills, knowledge and self-awareness to enter the rewarding field of social service.
We teach client-centred, empowering-based approaches to helping others. The curriculum offers a unique exposure and insight into Aboriginal history, culture and practice, which will be valuable to those students seeking employment in northern communities.
A broad range of government and non-government programs in the areas of mental health, education and social services requires employees to be able to function effectively within a continuously changing social and economic environment.
Let the Social Service Worker program give you the skills and confidence needed to succeed in this challenging career field.
Advanced standing will be considered for applicants with completed college or university level courses appropriate to and related to the social services field.
