Collaborative Nursing

This integrated, collaborative nursing program leads to a BScN awarded by Canadore’s partnering institution, Nipissing University. This specific training will prepare you to meet the present and future needs of health care. Graduates will be eligible to write the nurse registration examination, and upon successful completion, can apply for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and will be able to practice as beginning professionals in a variety of clinical settings.

This BScN collaborative program, which has eight clinical practicums, offers students a unique and innovative way of learning that incorporates the best of both the college and university learning experiences.

Note: Students must apply to Nipissing University through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (www.ouac.on.ca). Inquiries may also be directed to the Nipissing University Admissions Office at 705.474.3450 ext. 4761, www.nipissingu.ca.
