Live and breathe theatre in this fast-paced condensed training program. Learn the tools of the trade necessary to be successful in the worlds of theatre, film and television. Train under professionals currently working in the industry. Gain valuable exposure to agents, directors and producers during your training. This three-year program compressed into two years culminates with Rep 21, a graduate contemporary theatre company where graduates have the opportunity to perform in one or more live productions in both North Bay and Toronto.

Graduate Success Stories : 

Joshua Bainbridge,  2010 graduate– Joshua formed his own theatre company, J2 Productions, in North Bay. He recently had principal roles in the film A Dark Truth starring Andy Garcia and Harold and Lorna, as well as  the TV series Hard Rock Medical and Dark Rising. Joshua teaches stage combat for Canadore College.

 

Kelsey Ruhl, 2011 graduate – Kelsey has had principal roles in the films Algonquin and Harold and Lorna and is a member of J2 Productions acting company. She recently acted opposite Ryan Reynolds in Atom Agoyan’s new film Queen of the Night and had a principal role in the new Hallmark film Christmas with Tucker.

 

David Johnston, 2011 graduate – David is the principal actor on TV series Paranormal Activity.

 

Jennifer Matthies, 2009 graduate – Jennifer plays the principal role in the TV series Hard Rock Medical, has a role in the film Edwin Boyd, is a member of J2 Productions  and co-starred in Ontario premiere of stage play The Lieutenant of Inishmore in Toronto.

 

Morgan Bedard, 2011 graduate – Morgan is featured in TV series Paranormal Activity and Dark Rising.

 

Jordyn Steffan, 2009 graduate – Jordyn has been featured in many commercials and most recently was cast as the new “Galaxy Cinema Girl” for Galaxy Cinemas’ in-theatre commercials

 

Tim Murphy, 2007 graduate – Tim has toured his one-man original shows Blind to Happiness and Kuiwaiti Moonshine across Canada and New York City.

 

Jennifer Carroll, 2007 graduate – Jennifer is currently working in theatre in Ireland and is performing in a one woman show based on Lucy Maude Montgomery during the summers in Canada.

 

Matt McLean, 2007 graduate – Matt is a series regular on TV series The Savage Tales of Summer Vale.
