Reporting to the Vice President Academic, the Research Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation management of a range of applied research projects and related activities.

The Manager will act as a liaison with research staff, faculty, students and external research partners (industry, community), external funders and financial and human resources management for on-going research projects.

The incumbent will actively seek funding and applied research opportunities that alight with the strategic direction of the college, ensure projects are meeting the project goals, expectations, timelines and budgetary requirements. 

Senior Inclusion Navigator

POSITION SUMMARY:

TEMPORARY PART-TIME – 12-month project assignment
Up to 24 hours/week

Reporting to the Project Manager of the Village Collective Impact Project, the Senior Inclusion Navigator will support Village Collective Impact Project.  This project is a collaborative initiative between Canadore College and more than 25 regional collaborating and partner organizations.

The Senior Inclusion Navigator will oversee inclusion activities; coordinate seniors’ engagement and support the project manager lead the project and develop a common agenda that provides new and enhanced opportunities for seniors in the region for social inclusion, centered on a common agenda and mobilization framework.  The efforts will engage seniors, stakeholders and caregivers to create new models of healthy ageing and inclusion efforts aimed at improving outcomes of Indigenous seniors.
