• Mattea Brotherton

    Mattea Brotherton (Puck)

    Mattea has recently played Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, an assortment of characters in The Tragedy of Coriolanus, and Ricky, Laddie and the Customs Officer in Hurray for Johnny Canuck, and the role of Gryffin in What the Circle Reveals in the 2018 On the Edge Fringe Festival. She has played principal roles in several Digital Cinematography films including The Damned and her Quiche, Hidden in the Walls, and Dig Deep. Scene Study exercises include Amy and Becca in Refuge, Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, Olivia in The Odd Couple and Ernestine in The Anger of Ernest and Ernestine. Mattea also played the role of Julie in the proof of concept television series for Sunshine Sketches, and voiced the role of Birch in Forest Talk Radio.

  • Mitchell Loon

    MITCHELL LOON (Will Hays/ Albert Warner/ Waiter/ Dance Captain)

    Mitchell Loon has been acting from a young age with Magnus Theatre in Northern Ontario, bringing Blocked and The Invisibles to the stage. He is currently enrolled in Canadore College’s Acting for Stage and Screen Program. Throughout the program he has played the title role in Hurray for Johnny Canuck!, Menenius in The Tragedy of Coriolanus, and, most recently, Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof. Mitchell recently worked with Derek Diorio and had a principal role in the proof of concept for the Colin Mochrie Show: Choke Hold.

  • Aydan Maxwell

    AYDAN MAXWELL (Jack Warner)

    Aydan has appeared as Mom, Narrator, Borman and Gobbels in Canadore’s production of Hurray for Johnny Canuck! as well as appearing as General Cominius in Canadore’s the Tragedy of Coriolanus. He has also appeared in a series of student films. In Fiddler on The Roof he played Fydeka but his most recent work was in Forest Talk Radio voicing the grumpy tree. Aydan is a determined voice actor and will be graduating from Canadore’s Acting for Stage and Screen Program this summer.

  • Zachary Brubacher

    ZACHARY BRUBACHER (Dick Powell/Harry Warner/ Cowboy/Fight Captain)

    Zachary previously played Officer Klein in the Gateway Theatre Guild’s production of Arsenic and Old Lace. He also played Pop, Otto, Schwartz and Hans in Canadore’s production of Hurray for Johnny Canuck! and was Aufidius in The Tragedy of Coriolanus. His most recent role was in Canadore’s Fiddler on the Roof in which he played the Constable.

    He is in various short films produced by Canadore’s Digital Cinematography program such as Where is the Wifi, What Happened in the Woods and You’ve Been Convicted. Scene study exercises include Sam/Nat in Refuge, Earnest in The Anger of Earnest and Earnestine, Lovborg in Hedda Gabler, Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest, Phipps in An Ideal Husband and Henry in Criminals in Love. Zachary will be graduating from the Acting for Stage and Screen Program at Canadore College this summer.  

  • Jessica Myre

    JESSICA MYRE (Louella Parsons/ Peaseblossom/ Wardrobe Mistress)

    Jessica recently played Volumnia in Canadore’s production of The Tragedy Of Coriolanus, Ruth Barton in Hurray for Johnny Canuck!, and most recently, Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof. She has appeared in a variety of Canadore’s Digital Cinematography films including Her Story, Quick Cash, Booked Out and Swipe Right. Scene Study exercises include Nina in The Seagull, Nora Helmer in A Doll’s House, Mary in The Melville Boys, Ernestine in The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine, and Becca/ Amy in Refuge.

  • Andrew Pritchard

    ANDREW PRITCHARD (Max Reinhardt/ Moth)

    Andrew was the stage manager for the Gateway Theatre Guild production of Arsenic and Old Lace and recently played the role of Bob Hicks in Outlaw. At Canadore, he played as Yente and Mordcha in Fiddler on the Roof, Sicinius in Coriolanus, and both Hitler and Brian Russell in Hurray for Johnny Canuck! He appeared in the Hallmark television film Christmas in Love, the CTV series Cardinal, as well as Canadore Digital Cinematography films Booked Out, Quick Cash, and Where’s the Wi-Fi. He also played the part of Travis in Derek Diorio’s proof of concept Sunshine Sketches, the voice acting role of the BC Radio Host in Dave Merleau’s Forest Talk Radio app, and Billy Stewart in Rod Carley’s 100th Anniversary Remembrance Day Performance for the Trinity United Church. Scene Study exercises include Ernest in The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine, Henry Higgins in Pygmalion, Torvald Helmer in A Doll’s House, Junior in Criminals in Love, Eugene in Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Nat in Refuge.  

  • Aubrey Rand

    AUBREY RAND (James Cagney/Darryl/Groucho Marx/ Bing Crosby)

    Aubrey previously played Corporal Dixon, Winston Churchill, and Mario in Canadore’s production of Hurray for Johnny Canuck! as well as Cassius/ Lieutenant in Coriolanus. He recently played Motel in Fiddler on the Roof. He was an Asst. Stage Manager for Gateway Theatre Guild’s production of Arsenic and Old Lace. He played the role of Kyle in the film Running Mates and played the role of Harry Hussel in the proof of concept for Sunshine Sketches directed by Derek Diorio. His other film roles include the short films You’ve Been Convicted and Stuck! with Canadore’s Digital Cinematography Program. He lent his voice for the character of Fir in the radio comedy Forest Talk Radio. Scene study exercises include Sam/Nat in Refuge, Max in The Long Weekend, Thomas Roman in You are Here, Miles in The Drawer Boy, Hjalmar Ekdal in The Wild Duck, and Judge Brack in Hedda Gabbler. Aubrey will be graduating from the Acting for Stage and Screen Program this summer.

  • Brandon Rickard

    BRANDON RICKARD (Joe E. Brown, Sam Warner, and Tarzan)

    Brandon recently portrayed Lazar Wolfe in the musical Fiddler on the Roof by Joseph Stein at Canadore College. He also played Derek Bras D’or in Ken Gass’ stage production Hurray for Johnny Canuck! that was performed at the Capitol Centre, and other theatre roles including Titus Lartius from Shakespeare’s play Coriolanus. He has been seen on CTV’s series Cardinal along with Hallmark’s Crossword Mysteries and Booked Out for the Canadore Digital Cinematography program. Brandon made an appearance in the proof of concept for The Colin Mochrie Show directed by Derek Diorio. Scene Study exercises as include Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest and Roger from The Long Weekend.  

  • Tevin David Russell

    TEVIN DAVID RUSSELL (Daryl, Mustardseed/ Ensemble)

    Tevin is his final year in Canadore’s Acting for Stage and Screen Program. He recently played the Rabbi/Fiddler in Fiddler on the Roof and numerous characters in Coriolanus and Hurray for Johnny Canuck. Canadore Digital Cinematography films include Thomas in Backstory, Sam in My Friend and The Shadow, Human in What is Human? ,The Colin Mochrie Show proof of concept and Sunshine Sketches proof of concept. Canadore Scene Study exercises include Bobby in Tough! Felix in The Odd Couple, Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest and Nat in Refuge. Born and bred in Toronto, high school productions include Cowmen in OKLAHOMA! Injun Joe in Tom Sawyer, Constable Locke in The Music Man.

  • Zachary Silva

    ZACHARY SILVA (Oberon)

    Zac recently appeared as Will Van Horne in Gateway Theatre Guild’s production of Outlaw. He also appears as the voice of the Purposely Aloof Neighbour in Forest Talk Radio. At On the Edge Fringe Festival 2018 he appeared as the demon Xankoo in What the Circle Reveals and also took part at Trinity United Church’s 2018 Remembrance Day Ceremony. At Canadore, Zac played Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, Caius Martius Coriolanus in Coriolanus and Major Domo in Hurray for Johnny Canuck. Scene Study exercises include Robert Chiltern in An Ideal Husband, Mister Solness in The Master Builder, Ernest in The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine, and Henry Dawson in Criminals in Love.  

  • Keirea Uriate

    Keira Uriarte (Lydia)

    Keira has previously played Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, Hawking Clam in Peter and the Star Catcher, and Princess in Once upon a Mattress (Mississippi Mudds Theatre group). Canadore credits include Beatrice in Coriolanus, Fanny in Hurray for Johnny Canuck, and Golde in Fiddler on the Roof. She appeared in the digital cinematography films as Shelby in Stuck, convict #2 in You’ve been convicted, and Dr. Jackson in Careful What You Wish For. Scene study exercises include Amy in Refuge, Florence Unger in The Odd Couple, Alison in You Are Here, Ernestine in Ernest and Ernestine, Hedda in The Master Builder, and Gwendolen Fairfax in The Importance of Being Ernest.

    JESSICA YOUNG (Olivia Darnell)

    Jessica most recently played Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. Other Canadore productions include The Tragedy of Coriolanus where she played Virgillia as well as a Narrator in Hurray for Johnny Canuck! She’s appeared in the Hallmark television film Christmas in Love and such Canadore Digital Cinematography films as Nevertheless She Persisted, Backstory, What Happened in the Woods, Where’s the Wifi and Booked Out. Scene study exercises include Nora in Wrong For Each Other, Ernestine in The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine, Diane Drake in You are Here, Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion, Hedda Gabler in Hedda Gabler and Amy/Becca in Refuge.
